SRINAGAR: The Meteorological Department has issued a weather forecast predicting mainly dry conditions across Jammu and Kashmir for the upcoming two weeks.

Starting with Monday’s weather, the region is expected to experience hot and dry conditions.

On September 5, the forecast indicates that the weather will be mainly clear to partly cloudy, with a 50 percent chance of a brief spell of rain likely in some areas of Jammu & Kashmir towards the evening.

From September 6 to September 10, primarily dry weather is anticipated throughout Jammu and Kashmir.

As we move into the second week, the forecast for the following weekend suggests mainly clear and dry weather with the possibility of a brief spell of light rain occurring at isolated locations.

It’s worth noting that there is no major rain or snowfall expected in the region for the next two weeks, providing a conducive environment for agricultural activities. Farmers are advised to take advantage of this dry spell and proceed with the harvest of their crops.
