SRINAGAR: The Meteorological Department has forecast largely dry weather across Jammu and Kashmir from October 17 to 24, with brief spells of rain possible at a few places on Friday, October 16.
According to the forecast shared with GNS, the weather is expected to remain generally dry on Friday, although isolated areas may receive brief rainfall.
The department has predicted a change in conditions from October 25 to 27, with cloudy skies, light rain at scattered places and light snowfall over higher reaches. Thunderstorms and gusty winds may accompany the precipitation.
In view of the expected dry spell, farmers have been advised to resume harvesting and other agricultural activities.
