SRINAGAR: Authorities on Monday ordered closure of all government and private schools across Jammu Division till August 19, in view of the prevailing inclement weather conditions.
An official order issued by the Directorate of School Education Jammu states, “In view of the inclement and bad weather conditions, it is hereby ordered that all the government as well as private schools of Jammu Division shall continue to remain closed till tomorrow, i.e. 19.08.2025.”
Parents and students have been advised to stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel amid the rough weather.
It is important to mention that Jammu Division is experiencing continuous rains for the past week, while rains lashed Kashmir parts from this morning.
