SRINAGAR: The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has ordered the reopening of all remaining government and private recognised schools in Jammu Division with effect from May 19, 2025.
According to the order, the reopening applies to schools that have not yet resumed academic activities. The directive aims to ensure the full resumption of the educational calendar following a phased approach.
Zonal Education Officers have been tasked with ensuring strict adherence to safety and operational guidelines issued by the School Education Department and other relevant authorities.
Heads of institutions have also been directed to resume academic activities in a smooth and orderly fashion while maintaining close coordination with local administration and law enforcement agencies to ensure safety and discipline on campuses.
