SRINAGAR: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has revised school timings for all government and recognised private institutions across the Kashmir Division, with the new schedule coming into effect from April 1, 2026.
As per Order No. 119-DSEK of 2026 dated March 30, schools located within the Srinagar Municipal limits will operate from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Schools outside the municipal limits of Srinagar district, as well as those in other parts of Kashmir, will function from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
The Directorate has instructed all institutions to strictly follow the revised timings without any deviation.
