SRINAGAR: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has announced revised school timings for all Government and recognised Private Schools across the Kashmir Division, effective from May 26, 2025, according to an official order issued on Thursday.
As per the order, schools falling within the Srinagar Municipal limits will operate from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Schools located outside the municipal limits of Srinagar district and in other areas of the Kashmir Division will follow the timing of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The order further states that these instructions must be strictly followed by all concerned educational institutions and that any deviation will be viewed seriously. (JKNS)
