Dukhtaran-e-Millat on Wednesday paid glorious tributes to a young student of Shopian, Adil Ahmed Magray who was killed in forces action during a cordon and search operation in Ganawpora.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, the Secretary General of DeM Nahida Nasreen said, “Our zealous youth have proven it that they do not hesitate in giving lives in the way of Allah and to safeguard the lives of our Mujahideen. May Allah accept their Shahadah.”

She said that the forces deliberately launch cordon operations during night or at Iftar time and as a result such situations arise. “They do not want the people of Kashmir to spend the blessed month peacefully,” Nasreen said, adding, “They are trying to incite people in this month of peace.”

“The enthusiastic youth even during this month do not care for their lives and stand up against oppression by saving Mujahideen and by standing up for the path of righteous.”

Nasreen said that today when thousands of students across Kashmir protested against the “cold blooded murder”, they were showered with shells and pellets. Even the girl students were not spared. “They want to crush the student movement. In Pampore and IUST Awantipora many boys and girls were injured in brutal forces action.” She condemned the police action.
