SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Saturday laid the foundation stone for a 50-bedded hostel at the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Nowshera, at an estimated cost of Rs 398.30 lakh.
As per the details inscribed on the foundation stone, the proposed hostel will consist of a ground floor and a first floor and will accommodate up to 50 students.
The Public Works Department (PWD-R&B) will execute the project.
The hostel will provide residential accommodation to students enrolled at the Government ITI. The project cost is estimated at around Rs 3.98 crore.
