SRINAGAR: Earthquake of magnitude 4.8 jolted Jammu and Kashmir at 12:02:01 IST, on Saturday. The epicentre of the earthquake was at the depth of 120 km deep at Lat:34.86 N & Long: 74.06 E in the region of Jammu and Kashmir.

Tremors were felt in many parts of the valley. However, no loss of life and property has been reported. The earlier earthquake jolted Kashmir on September 22 with an intensity of 3.6.
