SRINAGAR: An earthquake measuring 3.5 on the richter scale jolted Jammu and Kashmir at 06:54 am on Monday.

According to the National Centre for Seismology, the tremors were felt 51 km northwest of Hanley a village in the Indian union territory of Ladakh.

However, there were no immediate reports of any loss of life or damage to property due to the earthquake.
