SRINAGAR: A low-intensity quake measuring 5.3 on the Richter Scale was felt in Kashmir on Friday. No damage was reported.
An official said the intensity of the earthquake was measured 5.3 on Richter Scale and the tremors were felt at 09:43 PM. “Its depth was 101 kms and its epicentre was located in Tajikistan,” he said.
The coordinates of the earthquake were 71.60 degrees East and 36.52 degrees North.
