SRINAGAR: Mild earthquake tremors were felt in several parts of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday morning.

An earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale struck Kishtwar district on Friday morning, according to the National Centre for Seismology.
The tremor occurred at around 9:57:54 am IST. Its epicentre was located in the Kishtwar region at Latitude 33.289 North and Longitude 76.739 East, at a depth of 10 kilometres.
There were no immediate reports of any casualties or damage to property from anywhere in the Union Territory till the filing of this report.
