SRINAGAR: Over 458 teaching and non-teaching personnel from Kashmir Division have been elevated to the next higher level.
The announcement was made by the Education Minister, Sakina Itoo, who extended her best wishes to the employees benefitting from the promotion. “In line with our commitment to streamline the education sector, I am pleased to share the elevation of 458 teaching and non-teaching personnel from Kashmir Division to the next higher level. Orders will follow shortly. Best wishes to all of them,” she said in a post on X.

The decision has been welcomed by the education fraternity, with many terming it as a step that will not only boost staff morale but also improve the overall functioning of schools and colleges in Jammu and Kashmir.
Officials said formal orders regarding the elevation will be issued soon, paving the way for the promoted staff to take up their new responsibilities.
