The schools and colleges re-opened across the Kashmir Valley on Tuesday after remaining shut for a day following the killing of three militants.
All educational institutions were closed on Monday morning for a day after the reports about the killing of three militants came.
The schools in the Valley had shut for winter break on December 3 last year and were scheduled to reopen on March 5. The government, however, extended the winter vacation to prevent law and order problems following a chain of militancy-related events.
However, authorities have decided to re-open schools and colleges across Kashmir today.
