SRINAGAR: The General Administration Department at the Civil Secretariat has issued a government order on September 26, 2023 which announces a change in the holiday schedule for Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the order, the holiday originally scheduled for September 27, 2023 (Wednesday) has been postponed. Now, Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi will be observed on September 28, 2023 (Thursday) instead.
Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi is a religious observance in Islam, commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
