SRINAGAR: A road accident occurred near the Padpawan area of Shopian along the Mughal Road on Wednesday, leaving eight people injured.
Officials said that a Tempo Traveller carrying passengers lost control, skidded off the mountainous road, and turned turtle, resulting in injuries to eight individuals.
All the injured were shifted to District Hospital Shopian, where they are currently undergoing treatment, they added.
Authorities have taken cognisance of the incident, and an investigation has been initiated to determine the exact cause of the mishap. (JKNS)
