The district administration of Kupwara Tuesday suspended eighty of its employees for remaining absent from their duties.
Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara during a surprise inspection today of Block office, AD Handicrafts, Xen REW, Xen PHE, Xen I&FC, PDD, ACD office and Chief Education office in Kupwara, found 80 employees absent from duty, an official statement said this evening.
The Deputy Commissioner recommended suspension of the absentees.
