A 50-year-old was killed in a road accident in Sonamarg Gund tehsil of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday, reports claimed.
Reports said that Ghulam Rasool Lone, 50, son of Abdul Ahad Lone, a resident of Wawura Kupwara, was seriously injured after being hit by a Truck bearing registration number 6599/JK03A in old truck yard Sonamarg.
However, Lone was immediately rushed to PHC Sonamarg for treatment where from he was referred him to SKIMS Soura for the specialised treatment but succumbed to his injuries on the way.
Meanwhile, Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case in this regard.
