SRINAGAR: An elderly man died after collapsing while digging a well in Kangan area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday.
An official said that a 55-year-old man, identified as Abdul Rashid Dar, son of Mohd Akbar Dar, from the Kangan area of Pulwama, was digging a well when he suddenly collapsed.
This resulted in internal injuries. He was immediately taken to the district hospital in Pulwama, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, the police have taken cognizance of this incident.(KS)
