SRINAGAR: An 80-year-old man was killed in an accident in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday evening.
Reports said that an unknown scooty hit the octogenarian in Gagal area of Lolab, resulting in critical injuries to him. He was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment where doctors declared him brought dead, they said.
The deceased has been identified as Mangloo Khatan (80) son of Shamsdin of Gagal.
A police officer confirmed the incident to news agency GNS said that a case has been registered in this regard and investigations taken up.
