The clash hit Budgam has polled highest number of votes till 11 am, official sources told Kashmir Life.
Giving details, the sources said that as many as 39375 votes were polled in Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency till 11.00 am. The highest being in Budgam as 16719 votes were cast in the district, followed by 12573 votes in Ganderbal district and 10083 votes in Srinagar district.
Lowest is being recorded from Srinagar’s Eidgah with only 169 votes poled, while in Kangan Assembly segment of Ganderbal district 8015 voters exercised their franchise and Ganderbal 4558 votes.
The other areas of Srinagar have recorded; Hazratbal 964 votes, Khanyar 800, Habbakadal 1164, Zadibal 1772, Amirakadal 1937, Sonwar 1433, Batamaloo 1844, thus recording a total of 10083 votes which include 6494 male and 3589 female voters.
In Budgam, Chadoora segment recorded 276 votes, Budgam 2443, Beerwa 6069, Khansahib 6410 and Chrar-e-Sharief 1521 taking total number of votes to 16719
Thus the total poll percentage by 11.am was 3.12 percent, officials said.
