After the massive protests erupted in Kralpora area of Budgam, there are reports that the polling booth has been deserted by the staff and forcers guarding the premises.

Locals told Kashmir Life that protesters surrounded the premises while shouting slogans.
The staff was taken away by police and the CRPF men guarding the building were escorted by youth by forming ring around them to their local camp at mandir post.
“We did not harm CRPF men as they told that we are doing our duty,” a local youth told Kashmir Life.
However the EVM machines were taken out from the booth and set afire along with the SRTC bus.
