Electric Shock While Taking Photos Leaves Two Injured at Railway Station

   

SRINAGAR: Two boys were injured after receiving an electric shock while taking photographs atop a train at Budgam Railway Station on Friday, officials said.

An official told the news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC) that the injured were brought to SMHS Hospital Srinagar after they came into contact with a live electric wire while taking photos on top of a train at the railway station.

The injured have been identified as Reyan Ahmad, son of Shameem Ahmad Dar, a resident of Maharajpora Batamaloo, aged 16 years, whose condition is stated to be critical, and Arbaz Ahmad Dar, son of Mehraj-ud-Din Dar, also a resident of Maharajpora Batamaloo, aged 20 years, whose condition is stable, he said.

Both are undergoing treatment, while further details are awaited. (KNC)
