A gunfight is underway between militants and the government forces in Drusoo village in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, an official said.
An official said that an exchange of fire is going on between militants and the forces in Drusoo.
He said that militants opened fire on the forces which had launched a cordon-and-search-operation in the area, triggering a gunfight.
Earlier, army’s 32 RR and SOG have launched a cordon-and-search operation at Drusoo village following specific information about the presence of militants inside a residential house.
