SRINAGAR: An encounter has broken out in a South Kashmir village and so far a militant has been reported killed.
Jammu and Kashmir Police broke the news that an encounter has started in Khandipora village in Kulgam during the wee hours. In a subsequent tweet, it said a militant was killed and the operation is still in progress.
