SRINAGAR: An encounter has broken out in a south Kashmir village on Wednesday and so far a militant has been reported killed.
Jammu and Kashmir Police broke the news that an encounter has started at Nawapora village in Mir Bazar area of Kulgam. In a subsequent tweet, it said a militant was killed and the operation is still in progress.

They said that the gunfight broke out at Nawapora village in Mir Bazar area of Kulgam following a search operation.
