An encounter started in Doro area of Sopore Monday afternoon between the holed up suspected militants and the forces, resulting in the death of three militants so for.
Police spokesman while confirming the encounter told Kashmir Life that the operation against the militants was going on.
Police sources said that 22 RR and SOG Sopore cordoned off the Mukdam Mohalla, in Doro Sopore after an input about the presence of militants.
“During the search operation the militants opened firing,” they said adding “three militants have been killed and a fierce encounter was going on.”
