A gun fight has started between government forces and militants in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Reports said that the encounter broke out between the forces and militants Sunday evening in Khudwani village of Kulgam’s Qaimoh Tehsil.
The armed forces had launched a search operation when militants fired on them.
The encounter was going on when this report was filed. Further details awaited.
