Speaker of the State Legislative Assembly, Mubarak Gul, Monday directed the Government to ensure that whatever information provided in the House in response to the questions raised by members is authentic, correct and to the point.
The direction came soon after the Question Hour when a member complained that the reply he got to his question was not based on facts.
Responding to the complaint, Gul asked the Government to enquire into it and punish the officers or officials who have provided wrong information to the House.
