Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday allotted portfolios to the newly inducted ministers.
An order, issued today, said that Tasaduq Mufti brother of the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti was allotted Tourism ministry. Javaid Mustafa Mir MLA Chadoora who was also inducted into the cabinet was given the portfolios of Disaster Management, Relief and Rehabilitation, and Reconstruction and Floriculture.
Tourism portfolio was with the Chief Minister. Her uncle Farooq Andrabi was a minister of Haj and Auqaf and his resignation speared the particular portfolio. Relief and rehabilitation that was earlier given to Veeri was now given to Mir.
Meanwhile, Abdul Rehman Veeri who was already holding the Revenue ministry was given additional portfolios of Parliamentary affairs and Hajj and Auqaf.
