Er Rasheed Injured in Police Action at Islamabad: AIP, ‘anti-BJP’ March Foiled

Police Monday morning foiled the “anti BJP” protest march of Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) at Islamabad and used force to disperse the AIP workers, a statement issued by the party here read.

In police action, AIP chief and MLA Langate Er Rashid got injured and later he along with his associates were detained in Police station at Sadder Police Station in Islamabad, the statement added.

Meanwhile Court has directed police to shift MLA Langate to any civil Hospital nearest to police station for immediate treatment .

A Party spokesperson strongly condemned the police action and detention of Er Rashid and other party leaders.
