Days after hinting of launching a regional political party, independent MLA, Engineer Rashid on Tuesday said that his party would be floated formally on Wednesday. Engineer would announce the name of the party in a press conference on Wednesday at Srinagar.
Engineer would be the third MLA since 2002 to launch a mainstream political party of his own. Earlier Minster for Agriculture Gh. Hassan Mir and former Minster Hakeem Mohammad Yassin have launched their own parties in recent years.
