A BJP Minister Wednesday related Sainik Colony issue with law and order problem. He said Sainik Colonies should be set up in area’s which witness law and order problem.

Minister of State for Finance & Planning, Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution (CAPD) and Relief & Rehabilitation Ajay Nanda who held a public grievances redressal camp in Kulgam told reporters that Sainik Colonies should be set up where there is need of it. “Wherever there is law and order problem, Sanik colony should be set there and there is no harm in it,” he said.

To a question, Nanda said that government is committed to regularize daily-rated workers. He said government is working on it and the daily rated workers will be adjusted on permanent basis in their respective departments. (CNS)
