For the establishment of new industrial units across the valley, the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan today chaired a meeting to review the progress of land transfer to Industries Department.
The Deputy Commissioners informed the meeting regarding the present status of land and demand of additional chunk of land in their respective districts for the establishment of new industrial areas.
The Divisional Commissioners directed Director Industries & Commerce to send the letter of Indent to all Deputy Commissioners at an earliest.
The DCs and concerned officers were directed to remove all bottlenecks immediately and finish the process of land transfer to the Industries Department as soon as possible.
The Divisional Commissioner said that the establishment of new industrial units across the valley would open a new window for unemployed youth and also raise the economic graph of Kashmir Division.
Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Dr Shahid Iqbal, Director Industries & Commerce, Additional Commissioner Kashmir, Assistant Commissioner (central) with Div Com, Senior officers of revenue and other concerned officials were present in the meeting whereas other Deputy Commissioners of the Kashmir Division participated the meeting through video conferencing.
