‘Every Oppressor is bound to succeed,’ this was stated by J&K Civil Society Member Dr Altaf hussain in his speech during the event, ‘Haqeeqat-e-Kashmir‘ at SK Park in Srinagar.
Dr Altaf while terming the Zubin Mehta’s event as ‘event for rich and elitist,’ said that ‘Haqeeqat-e-Kashmir’ is event of common Kashmiri who has is suffering at the hands of India and ‘breathe with pain and agony’.
He claimed that around Rs 100 crore are being spent on Zubin’s concert and common people are prevented from reaching to this event of Kashmir.
Dr Altaf accused International community of closing down eyes to the problem of Kashmir and lamented State Govt of distorting the culture and identity of Kashmir by vandalizing the garden of Shalimar.
