While terming the statement of National Conference working president and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah about the Pakistan as “childish and based on little knowledge”, Hurriyat Conference (g) Saturday said, “not only Pakistani leadership but everyone in Kashmir also know the course of implementation of the UN resolutions and that is India and Pakistan have to pull out their respective troops simultaneously from the Kashmir.”

Hurriyat (g), however, addressed the Omar Abdullah that when India is totally refusing the UN resolutions then why should Pakistan demilitarize its controlled area. “The main and major hurdle in the implementation of the UN resolutions is the rigid and stubborn approach of India but not Pakistan and accusing Pakistan for all this is in no way any reasonable and sensible assessment,” the Hurriyat (g) statement said.

“Pakistan is supporting and advocating the Right to Self Determination for the Kashmiri people from the day one and this country has never objected the implementation of the UN resolutions and nor will they do it in future,” the statement said.

Hurriyat (g) “reminded Omar Abdullah” that his grandfather late Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah ran plebiscite movement in Kashmir for 22 years despite fully knowing the implementation process of the said resolutions and during this period he enjoyed full support of the Pakistan “because this country was never against the implementation of the resolutions. So this issue has never been controversial on which Omar Abdullah tweeted today”.

“The real problem of Omar Abdullah is that his family had sold out the countless and precious sacrifices of Kashmiri nation in-lieu of the chair of power and to justify and hide that episode of the history, he feels that blaming and accusing Pakistan for all that is necessity of the time,” the statement said.

“The ball lies in the court of India and firstly they have to accept this fact that Jammu & Kashmir no integral part of this country but it is a disputed territory whose decision with regarding to its future is still pending and implementation of the UN resolutions is vital for final and peaceful solution to this long pending dispute. Then it comes to another phase, that is, the implementation process of the UNO resolutions and withdrawal of the armed forces from Kashmir,” the statement said.
