With another out of box surprise, Engineer Rasheed dropped at Syed Ali Geelani’s residence on Tuesday morning and spent at least two hours with him. Stating that Kashmir was neither a jugular vein nor an “integral” part of any country, Independent legislator Er Rashid has said that he was endorsing Hurriyat (G) Syed Ali Shah Geelani’s stand on Kashmir Issue.
“MLA Langate endorsed Geelani’s stand on Kashmir issue and said that there could be differences in approach, but the stand on Kashmir issue was undisputed.” Sources privy to the meeting told a local news agency, KNS adding that the MLA discussed various other issues including the proceedings of the just concluded assembly with Geelani.
Meanwhile Syed Ali Shah Geelani while confirming the meet told KNS, “Engineer expressed his views on the various issues including the cultural aggression and other issue. I say with authority that he is also worried on these issues”, Geelani told KNS.
