SRINAGAR: Two security personnel were injured in an exchange of fire with militants in the Kulnar area of Bandipora district on Friday morning.
Police said that a search operation was launched in the area following specific input about suspicious movement. “During the search, the hiding militants opened fire, leading to an exchange in which two personnel sustained injuries,” they said.
The injured have been shifted to a medical facility. A tight cordon has been established, and searches are ongoing. (JKNS)
