SRINAGAR: Police on Wednesday said that explosives in the form of gelatin sticks were recovered from a bus in Jammu.
“During a routine security exercise and checking at naka, explosives in the form of gelatin sticks were recovered from a public transport bus at Jajjar Kotli in Jammu,” news agency GNS quoted a police spokesperson as saying, adding, “BDS was called on and an explosive was detonated through a controlled mechanism,”.
He said a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in police station Jajjar Kotli.
“Investigation is underway,” he said.
