SRINAGAR: A video circulating online features a cleric warning Hindus to leave Kashmir. However, the viral clip is not from the 1990 migration of Hindus from Kashmir but a scene from a Bollywood movie.
The video clip in question is taken from the film Mudda 370 JK, which was released in 2019.
An Instagram user, ‘proudbhartiya__,’ who has nearly two lakh followers shared the video with a caption suggesting that a similar situation would unfold across India. The caption included inflammatory remarks and alleged that announcements were made from mosques inciting violence. The instagram user can be seen instigating Hindus to “wake up” before its gets too late.
However, the viral video clip is a dramatised scene from the film, not footage of the actual incident.
