One person has died after a heavy branch of Chinar tree crushed a vehicle near Darend, Ganderbal Wednesday night.
Bashir Ahmad Lone (33) son of Ghulam Mohammad from Qouil, Ganderbal was seriously wounded when his Alto 800 bearing number JK16 7313 came under a falling tree branch.
Bashir, an advocate by profession was immediately rushed to the SKIMS hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. His body was handed over to relatives for last rites.
