SRINAGAR: On the Eid eve, a man travelling by Sumo fell down and died. The incident was reported from Beerwah town in Budgam.
Identified as Ghulam Nabi Shah, a resident of Pati Sail Kanigund area, he fell from the Sumo when it was on its way from Beerwah to Zanigam. Shah was shifted to the hospital in an unconscious state where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police said they have registered a case and started investigations. It was not immediately known if he was in the Sumo and on its top.
