The family and relatives of the kin who were arrested by the police and according to them are being handed over to NIA on Thursday staged a protest in Downtown Srinagar and sought the release of their kin.
Reports said that today morning scores of the relatives especially women assembled and protested at Rajouri Kadal in Downtown Srinagar. The protesting family members also blocked the road against the alleged handing over of their kin to NIA by police.
Pertinently, days after the reports of handing over the nine youth from various parts of Kashmir appeared in various news portals, in reaction to that police refuted the reports and said all the accused persons are presently in “Judicial custody”.
