SRINAGAR: A family travelling in a car on Tuesday alleged that unidentified persons opened fire at them near the Samba Court Complex and abducted a female family member during the incident.
According to the family, several vehicles had been following them before the occupants allegedly attacked their car near the court premises.
They further alleged that the assailants abducted the man’s sister during the incident.
Quoting Police news agency GNS reported that they have taken cognisance of the allegations and launched an investigation into the matter. Efforts are underway to trace those involved and verify the claims.
