SRINAGAR: Dr Farooq Abdullah has been admitted to SKIMS in Srinagar on the advice of doctors to enable them to better monitor his condition. He is suffering from Covid-19, even after taking the first vaccine shot.
Taking to the microblogging site Twitter, Omar Abdullah tweeted “Based on the advice of doctors to enable them to better monitor my father, he has been admitted to hospital in Srinagar. Our family remains grateful to everyone for their messages of support & their prayers”.

Reports said that Dr Abdullah was driven to the SKIMS centre for Covid-19 where he is being monitored by specialist doctors. He has reported breathlessness.
