SRINAGAR: Dr Farooq Abdullah, President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference and Member of Parliament from Srinagar, visited the Farooqi family in Hazratbal to offer his condolences on the passing of Imam Of Dargah Hazratbal, Haji Syed Ahmad Farooqi.
During his condolence visit, he was accompanied by Chief Spokesperson & In Charge of Constituency Zadibal, Tanvir Sadiq. Local party functionaries also joined them, and together, they offered Fateha for the deceased and prayed for peace for the departed soul.
It is worth mentioning that Imam Maulana Sayed Ahmad Farooqi of Dargah Hazratbal passed away on Monday. Maulana Sayed Ahmad Farooqi had led prayers at Dargah Hazratbal for over two decades and breathed his last in the late afternoon at his home in Hazratbal.
