SRINAGAR: A man accused of fatally stabbing another during a scuffle in the Parimpora area of Srinagar has been arrested, police said.
In a post on X, Srinagar police, said that a scuffle broke out between two individuals over car parking near their shops in Parimpora this morning.
Police takes cognizance of an incident in which an individual namely Zareef Ahmed Mir S/o Ab Raheem Mir R/o Parimpora stabbed another namely Amir Razak Mir S/o Ab Razak Mir R/o Parimpora during a scuffle over vehicle parking near their shops.

Police said that during the altercation, one individual, identified as Zareef Ahmed Mir, son of Ab Raheem Mir of Parimpora, stabbed another man, Amir Razak Mir, son of Ab Razak Mir, also of Parimpora. “The victim was declared dead on arrival at SMHS Hospital,” they added.
“A case (FIR No. 114/2024) under Section 103 of the BNS Act has been registered at Parimpora police station. The accused has been arrested, and the weapon used in the offence has been recovere,” police said.
