SRINAGAR: In a heart-wrenching turn of events, Nissar Ahmad Mir, a 50-year-old businessman from Haril village in the Mawer block of Handwara, passed away on the very day his two daughters were to be married. The tragedy has cast a shadow over the celebrations, turning a day of joy into one of profound grief.
Nissar Ahmad, son of Mohammad Maqbool Mir, had been eagerly preparing for the weddings of his two daughters, which were scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. However, fate had other plans. According to local news gatherer KNT, Nissar Ahmad passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, around 4 am, leaving the family and the entire village in shock.
The sudden demise led to the immediate cancellation of the wedding ceremonies. Elders from both families were consulted, and it was unanimously decided to postpone the celebrations in light of the tragic circumstances. The family is now grappling with the profound loss of their patriarch, whose presence was central to the upcoming matrimonial ceremonies.
