SRINAGAR: In yet another sad occurrence on Saturday evening, a fatal accident took place on the Jammu-Srinagar Highway in Ramban district. A father-son duo met a tragic end, while their siblings were injured as their vehicle went off the road and into a gorge along Rajgarh Road in Kastigarh.
An official said that a car, carrying four family members, veered off the road and fell into a gorge along Rajgarh Road in Kastigarh, resulting in the demise of a man and his son, while two of his daughters sustained injuries.
Following the accident, authorities quickly launched a rescue operation. “The injured individuals are currently receiving medical treatment at a local hospital,” he added.
The deceased have been identified as Pritam Lal and his son Nitan Kumar, while the injured siblings were identified as Gur Dai and Sandya Devi, all residents of Kastigarh. (KNO)
