SRINAGAR: Federation Chamber of Industries Kashmir (FCIK) on Monday welcomed the appointment of Mahmood Ahmad Shah as Director Industries & Commerce and he also holds the charge of Director Handloom & Handicraft & J&K EDI.
While hailing appointment of Mahmood Ahmad Shah FCIK President Shahid Kamili said that his appointment will help Industry to get redressal of the issues on faster pace as he has already worked in same department and has in depth knowledge of problems faced by unit holders at grass root level.
FCIK assures him all support for the important position to improve the Industrial Sector.
FCIK Secretary General Ovees Qadir Jamie said that we are looking at Mahmood Ahmad Shah as a person who has knowledge of multiple sectors in which he has been posted at key positions like Director Tourism, Regional Transport Officer & other departments. His varied knowledge will help the Industry in result oriented initiatives at various level as he known for his bold decision making capability.
FCIK is hopeful that he will be Promising in fulfilling this challenging job as the industry is facing a difficult and tough time.
